NSW: Opposition urges Rees to force an early election

NSW Opposition Leader BARRY O'FARRELL has urged embattled Premier NATHAN REES to force
an early election.

Mr REES' reign as premier is tipped to come to an end this evening .. after 17 members
of the Right faction succeeding in calling a special caucus meeting for a leadership challenge.

Mr O'FARRELL says NSW voters deserve an early election and Mr REES needs to call a
no-confidence vote against the government.

He says whoever emerges as leader will be heading a party Mr REES described as dysfunctional
.. corrupt .. malignant and not capable of doing the job in NSW.
